Description:

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior System Software Engineer – GitHub to help build and scale a large private cloud platform that powers Continuous Integration (CI) services across the organization. This role is focused on developing cloud infrastructure solutions using GitHub and Kubernetes while supporting teams working on Graphics, AI, Deep Learning, Mobile Processors, and Autonomous Vehicles.

Key Technical Skills:

Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), GitHub, Kubernetes, MySQL, Elasticsearch, NoSQL

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills with expertise in Java.
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and message broker technologies.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and scalable infrastructure design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Experience with machine learning, data analytics, or GitHub-based CI workflows is an added advantage. 

What You’ll Be Working On:

You will design and develop scalable cloud services capable of handling millions of automated jobs every day across thousands of servers. The role involves solving complex infrastructure challenges related to job scheduling, resource management, automated recovery, and CI/CD workflows. You will also work with metrics, monitoring, storage services, and apply data analytics or machine learning techniques to improve system performance and reliability.
